Extending an old Victorian for a growing family
The objective of this renovation/extension was to open up the house & make it more liveable for a growing family of 4. There was only 3 small bedrooms one bathroom & toilet, all on one level. The clients wanted to create there own retreat (second story addition) up stairs & open up the rear of the property for a more light & user friend space.
It was quite a detailed build but a very smooth build with all going to plan. The clients were very organised & had all there finishes picked before the project begun.
A beautiful mix of the old Victorian period style at the from blending into a more modern/streamed line extension at the rear & the second story.
The property now comprises of 4 bedrooms, 2 ensuites & 1 main bathroom, 2 study areas for the adults & kids & a beautiful kitchen, living & decking area at the rear with spectacular views of Melbourne’s skyline.
